Chelsea Aubert is a graduate of Temple University with a Bachelors Degree in Musical Theatre and Acting Performance. There she studied under two-time GRAMMY-award winning soprano Julie Snyder and Broadway actress, Amina Robinson. Chelsea has performed internationally, nationally and in the Greater Philadelphia area in multiple mediums.
A musical theatre artist, Chelsea has performed in musicals, plays and operettas such as Guys and Dolls (Sarah Brown), Eleanor: An American Love Story (Lucy Mercer), Our Town (Emily Webb), Pirates of Penzance (Daughter/Police). She has worked with The Media Theatre, Mauckingbird Theatre Company and has been in multiple productions featured in the Philadelphia Fringe Festival.
A multi-faceted performing artist, Chelsea toured around the country with Enchantment Theatre Company bringing to audiences childhood favorites such as: The Peter Rabbit Tales and Harold and the Purple Crayon. Enchantment Theatre Company uses puppetry, mask work and dance to bring stories off the page and onto the stage.
A chorister, Chelsea has sung around Europe under the direction of Matthew Klenk with the American Music Abroad Honor Choir in Germany, Czechia, Austria, and France. She now sings classical repertoire as a cantor and pop music in a duo around Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
A music educator, she has taught PK - 8 music in schools, as well as private music lessons and after school/ summer theatre programs. Through all of her artistic ventures, Chelsea strives to nurture the desire for creative self-expression in her students so that they may build the tools to maintain it as a life-long journey just as her teachers have done for her.
Evelyn Virginia Sophia Czaja, lyric mezzo-soprano, voice and piano teacher. I am also a choir director and modest organist. I have done stage direction and am a certified makeup artist.
Musical life started as an opera singer in Chicago, IL. I’ve sung with local opera companies…Repertory Opera Theater and DuPage Opera, local symphonies…Northwest Symphony and Lake Shore Symphony, and Chicago Opera Theater. I’ve given numerous recitals both in Chicago and Boston, MA. I was also a Cantor in the Roman Catholic Church in Chicago for 15 years.
Roles I have performed include Musetta in Pucini’s La Boheme, The Queen of the Night in Mozart’s Magic Flute, and Yum-Yum in Gilbert and Sullivan’s Mikado, to name a few.
In Chicago I started teaching voice and then moved into the Boston area. I added beginning and intermediate piano to my teaching schedule as well. I’ve accompanied vocal students in recital and even played piano bar for one of my pop singing students.
Recently I have become an organist/choir director in the Greek Orthodox Church…Panagia in Cohasset, Dormition in Somerville, and now St. Catherine’s in Braintree.
As a private music teacher I love personal achievement. It’s so rewarding to watch a student grow in their instrument and be able to see them perform in recital. I enjoy the process of teaching a student to become their own musical artist.
My education includes a Masters Degree in Applied Music Pedagogy from Northeastern Illinois University, Chicago, IL and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Rosary College (now Dominican University) River Forest, IL. I’ve studied private voice as well in both Chicago and Massachusetts, as well as performance coaching. I’ve also studied piano privately as well as choral conducting at Rosary College, IL, and organ both in Chicago and in Massachusetts.
The associations I belong to are the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), Boston Singers Resources (BSR) and National Forum of Greek Orthodox Church Musicians.
Olin Langlois is a singer, songwriter and accomplished voice, piano,
guitar, and music teacher. In her formative years, she took violin lessons
while studying piano and guitar as secondary instruments. At the
Balakirev College of Nizhny Novgorod, Olin studied jazz voice and pedagogy,
while actively performing on various music projects and working as a vocal coach.
After graduating, Olin moved to Moscow to further study voice at
The Maimonides State Classic Academy for another 4 years.
For about the past 20 years, Olin has been a lead singer in music theater,
gospel choir and numerous music bands. She has also held residencies at
multiple venues and was a part of the annual singing of Handel’s “Messiah”.
Olin’s styles cover soul, blues, RnB, jazz, bossa nova, gospel and her original
music is a unique combination of these genres.
At the same time that her teaching style was developing, Olin continued to
work as a vocal coach. More and more she realized that singing is a
holistic process and it involves and effects both physical and metal
well being. During her singing and teaching career, Olin has
witnessed the positive therapeutic effects of music and vocal
breathing techniques on children and adults. She realized while it’s
important to work on music skills, it’s even more important to
receive joy, confidence, comfort and be able to express yourself
with your voice or musical instrument.
It is Olin’s strong belief that music is for everyone, whether you can
sing in tune or not. Just like we all have a heartbeat, we can all play
a beat. We only need to listen more carefully for it to sink in.
